Draft Proposed Text & Background Documents

This page will contain the draft proposed text  for the updated version of the Zoning Code. This text is the result of two years of public outreach and participation.  The existing Zoning Code contains many important concepts, procedures and standards that will be carried over to serve as the foundation for the updated Zoning Code. These sections of text show the proposed reorganization of the existing code to be more effective, and efficient. The draft code chapters also describe where existing code would be replaced by new material, or reorganized.

For each Chapter of proposed text, the following documents will be provided below:

  • Summary of the proposed updates
  • Draft text, (same as seen before the Zoning Commission)
  • Report to the Zoning Commission on the draft text

07-Sep-2010 Chapter 15: Parking Regulations Draft Text - Draft text on the regulation of motor vehicle parking. Will be reviewed by the Zoning Commission at the setdown meeting on September 16, 2010.
07-Sep-2010 Chapter 16: Bicycle Parking Regulations Draft Text - Draft text on the regulation of bicycle parking. Will be reviewed by the Zoning Commission at the setdown meeting on September 16, 2010.

13-Aug-2010 Setdown Report for Height & Use - Report outlining the proposed updates the the regulations and why those changes are being proposed.
11-Aug-2010 Chapter 2: Use Regulations Draft Text - Draft text on the regulation of uses, same as proposed before the Zoning Commission at the September 20th, 2010 public hearing.
17-Aug-2010 Use: Summary of Text Changes - Summary outlining the all of proposed text of the the Use regulations and why those changes are being proposed.
